Drinking water supply is one of the basic challenges in many parts of the world. Besides its quantitative aspect resulting from global warning and population increase, the quality of distributed drinking water is also of high importance. Access to safe drinking water would prevent water-borne diseases and decrease the rate of related health costs within the societies.
