The objective of our study was to simulation of carbon monoxide (CO) dispersion exited from the stacks of a cement industry of Doroud, Iran by Gaussian Model (GM). Four sampling period was conducted to measurement of CO from the factory's three-stack flow during one year.
Degradation of humic substances in water is important due to its adverse effects on the environment and human health. The aim of this study was modeling and investigating the degradation of humic substances in water using immobilized ZnO as a catalyst. ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized through simple coprecipitation (CPT) method and immobilized on glass plates.
Dyes are widely used in various industries most of them are not readily biodegradable and are consisted of number of toxic, mutagenic, and carcinogenic compounds. Therefore, it is essential to remove them from effluent before their discharge to the environment.
