Chapter 1 Administration
۱-۱ Scope.
۱-۱-۱ This code shall apply to any building where pyroxylin plastic is stored.
۱-۱-۲ This code shall apply to pyroxylin plastic, whether in the form of raw material, unfinished and finished products, or scrap.
۱-۱-۳* This code shall not apply to the storage of cellulose nitrate motion picture film.
۱.۲ Purpose.
The purpose of this code is to provide for the safe storage of pyroxylin plastic, other than cellulose nitrate motion picture film and nitrocellulose used in the manufacture of lacquer.
۱-۳ Enforcement.
This code shall be administered and enforced by the authority having jurisdiction designated by the governing authority. (See Annex B for sample wording for enabling legislation.)
