NFPA 225 – Model Manufactured Home Installation Standard

Chapter 1 Administration
۱-۱* Scope.
۱-۱-۱ This model standard shall cover the installation of manufactured homes.
۱-۱-۲ The manufacturer’s installation instructions shall apply under either of the following conditions:
(۱) To items not covered by this standard
(۲) Where the manufacturer’s approved installation instructions provide a specific method of performing a specific operation or assembly
۱-۲ Purpose. (Reserved)
۱-۳ Application. The provisions of this standard shall apply to manufactured homes used as dwelling units. This standard makes no provisions for other residential occupancies.
۱-۳-۱ This standard shall not apply to manufactured homes used for other than dwelling purposes.
۱-۳-۲ The provisions of this standard shall not apply to recreational vehicles as defined in NFPA 1192, or to park trailers as defined in ANSI/RVIAA119.5, Recreational Park Trailers.
۱-۳-۳* The provisions of this standard shall apply to park trailers labeled as manufactured homes.
