Chapter 1 Administration
1-1 Scope. The scope of mis standard is limited to me necessary functions and actions related to preparedness, response, and recovery from an active shooter /hostile event response (ASHER).
1-2 Purpose. The purpose of d1 is standard is to identify the program elements necessary to develop, plan, coordinate, evaluate, revise, and sustain an ASHER program.
1-2-1 Determining specific policies, tactics, and protocols shall be me responsibility of me authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).
1-3 Equivalency. Nothing in this standa1-d is intended to prevent me use of systems, methods, or devices of equivalent or superior quality, su-engd1, resistance, effectiveness, durability, and safety over those prescribed by this standard.
1-3-1 Technical documentation shall be submitted to me AHJ to demonstrate equivalency.
